I suppose it's been a while since I last posted anything, so I better get to it. Apparently, my significant other has an exciting job full of mystery and intrigue (see Mazel Tov http://jasonandjeanette.blogspot.com/2007/02/mazel-tov.html) and crazy bachelorette weekends. On the other hand, the most exciting thing that happens to me at work is when someone can’t work the copier or forgets how to integrate the complimentary error function. Soooooo, I said to myself "why not make something up?" After all, "reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.” If anyone can name the originator of that quote without the assistance of a search engine, I will personally bake and mail you a pie!*

Ok, so I can’t think of anything good. But, if I could, you can bet it would involve a few references to Super Troopers and Airplane. “Surely you can't be serious. I am serious... and don't call me Shirley.”

In closing, we should all keep mind that no matter what happens in life, you should always try to be as optimistic as the Black Knight in Monty Python..."It's just a flesh wound!!"

Oh, and lest we all forget…Clemson sucks.

Hello, blog!

Apparently, I'm required to post an initial message to "the world" in order to even select my blog's configuration. Is that a sign of fascism? Or a dictatorship? At any rate, I suppose it's not the end of the world; I get the chance to utilize my wit and humor, but alas, not my good looks or mastery of the english language (if any of my friends read this, I hope I get ripped big time for that!). I suppose it's time to go ahead and release this post so that I can configure my blog only to not even visit the site for another 10-12 weeks...I should stop lyin', it could EASILY be 20-22 weeks!

Hopefully, someone will appreciate the picture. It was sent to me by a co-worker after a long vent session about our jobs. I appreciated the humor and hopefully, somebody else will!
